Taking place from September 23 to 25, 2026, at the iconic Peace & Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece, this year’s edition will explore the theme “A Model for European Multisport and Multistakeholder Innovation”, a call for sport leaders, startups, innovators, sports clubs, organizations and federations to meet the concrete opportunities.

Against a backdrop of rapid transformation in the sport industry, the EPSI Annual Conference stands as the essential multi-stakeholders platform where visionary ideas meet decisive action. It is where European startups meet investors, and where connections forged in the context of publicly financed European projects become collaborations that move the needle.

The three-day conference will bring together sport industry professionals, entrepreneurs, academia, clusters, incubators & investors, policymakers, public authorities and European institutions coming from the 32 countries of the EPSI community and its over 235 members. At the same time, the conference hosts sports entities that come from outside the community to enlarge the networking experience, for an unparalleled programme of content and connection. Innovative solutions from sport companies. Groundbreaking, cutting-edge ideas in the sports sector, such as GREEnMat, OndaFit, and other pioneering EU startups, will showcase their solutions during the event.

Exclusive insights on European Funding. Expert-led sessions on active European funding programmes and upcoming calls, and not only Erasmus+ For Sport. The speakers will provide organisations with the strategic intelligence needed to access transformative financial support for Horizon Europe, Life, I3 programmes (granted 9M€), but also private funding from our strategic partners, such as the European Space Agency (ESA).

EPSI Innovation Competition. It’s probably the most awaited session of the event: Sport-tech startups will pitch their solutions in front of a distinguished expert jury. The winner will be awarded prize money and will become part of the EPSI community at no cost, with the chance to scale up the EU market thanks to a tailored mentorship and guidance from the EPSI business and project experts.

Dedicated business creation sessions and crowdfunding guidance. EPSI really believes in the power of ideas. That is why we offer attendees the opportunity to find a way to expand their business through accurate solutions, such as crowdfunding, but also market analysis and customised strategies.
